Bridgewater man found with two wounds consistent with knife injuries

A man found by police in Hobart’s northern suburbs with two suspected stab wounds is yet to file a formal complaint.

A Bridgewater man with suspected stab wounds to his cheek and shoulder has spoken to police but is yet to file a complaint.

Emergency services attended a report of a wounding on Bowden Drive in Bridgewater about 6.20pm yesterday.

A Tasmania Police spokeswoman said officers found the 25-year-old local man near his house with two wounds, one to his cheek and one to his shoulder, “consistent with knife injuries”.

“Police have spoken with the man, however no complaint has been received,” the spokeswoman said.
