The car, in Honeysuckle Drive, was well alight when residents called triple-0 about 3.30am.

“It’s pretty scary to wake up with a car fully alight just across from your property,” one resident said.

“Luckily it was clear of other vehicles and homes and no-one was hurt.”

It is believed the car, a Subaru Impreza, had been stolen about three days earlier.
