TASMANIAN brides-to-be have a new shopping destination to find their dream wedding dress with a popular mainland bridal store opening its first Tasmanian store.

Popular Australian bridal brand, Luv Bridal & Formal opened the doors of its brand new showroom in Pontville on Friday where they’ll offer a range of bridal gowns by world class designers.

Madeleine West from Luv Bridal & Formal said she was thrilled to bring the unique bridal shopping experience to Tasmania.

“The new store will be a must-see destination for brides searching for their dream gown,” Miss West said.

“Each gown on display will be hand-picked by the Luv Bridal directors and feature world-renowned designer brands and exclusive collections such as Madi Lane, Evie Young, Pronovias, St. Patrick and Mia Solano,” she said.

The new showroom is housed inside a 140 year old church which Miss West said makes for a beautiful setting.

“The store itself is a sight to behold. The building features impressive traditionally designed architecture and becomes the perfect background for the sentimental and everlasting moment of saying yes to the dress,” she said.

Luv Bridal & Formal is an Australian owned brand that started in 2009 and has nine stores across Australia and three in the US.

The new store is located at 2 Ford Road, Pontville.
