“Make sure you’re ready to register for a voucher from 7pm, Wednesday, September 30, 2020,” a statement read.

“Remember to double-check you have entered your correct email address on the registration page.”

HOW DO I USE YOUR VOUCHER?

The Tasmanian Government states:

First, you will need to book your eligible travel activity.

For accommodation, you can stay from Sunday to Thursday in the months of September, October and November 2020.

For experiences, this can be completed on any day of the week in the months of September, October and November 2020.

Don’t forget to use your voucher within 30 days of undertaking your first eligible travel activity and ask for proof of purchase from the eligible accommodation or experience business (for example, the hotel or tour operator).

You will need your proof of purchase to redeem your voucher along with ID (e.g. your driver’s licence), the name of the business and the dates you completed your travel activity.

ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?

Applicants reported numerous faults with the online and telephone access portals during the first release of vouchers.

High web traffic may impact the website and stop you from accessing a voucher.

The same can be said for the phone option.
