Four vehicle crash on Anderson St, Manunda, firefighters help paramedics remove patient
Paramedics have treated three patients at a four vehicle crash on a busy Cairns road late on Thursday afternoon, with lanes closed and firefighters and police in attendance.

Emergency services are at the scene of a four vehicle crash which has closed lanes and caused traffic chaos on a busy Cairns road on Thursday afternoon.
Traffic travelling westbound on Anderson St near McCormack St, Manunda towards Mayers St is being impacted.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said three patients were being assessed and two had complained of neck pain.
One fire crew were on scene at the crash a Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said.
“Firefighters assisted paramedic remove a person from a vehicle,” she said.
“They provided assistance with a spinal board to get her out of the vehicle.
“They said as of 6.02pm all people were out of the vehicles.”
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said officers were at the scene of the incident which occurred around 5.16pm.
“Officers are at the scene,” she said.
“Paramedics are treating patients.”
QldTraffic reported the crash and said “lane or lanes reduced, proceed with caution.”
