SHAMBLES
BARRY WHITE ROBUST PORTER, 6.3% ABV, $13 PINT
Big, smooth and velvety – just like the deep baritone of the big man himself. Notes of toffee, caramel and dark chocolate, with the complex malt flavours are matched by stronger alcohol and a balanced bitterness.

MOO BREW
MOO BREW STOUT, 8% ABV $29, for a six-pack (375ml can), $13 a pint
This beer has a local cult following who like to call it the “Velvet Sledgehammer” because it is smooth but packs a punch. It’s a Moo Brew favourite that hasn’t changed since it was created 12 years ago. It’s often on tap at The Whaler.

TASCADIAN DARK ALE, 6% ABV, $10 SCHOONER
This beer features the Tasmanian grown variety of the Cascade hop with a blend of American hops balanced with dark malts. The fruit and pine hop flavours and aromas are balanced with a subtle roast, chocolate and caramel maltiness.

T-BONE BREWING CO.
CHOC MILK STOUT 4.7% ABV $9 SCHOONER
A sweet milk stout brewed with milk sugar. Amazing dark chocolate aromas with a rich, smooth mouth-feel and delicious aftertaste. Finished off with vanilla and cacao nibs during secondary fermentation. On tap and in cans to take away.

IRONHOUSE BREWERY
HONEY PORTER, 6% ABV, $8-$10 SCHOONER
This is an exceptional beer you need to try if you like honey. It’s made with rich, organic Tasmanian leatherwood honey and is an English style dark ale. It is smooth and has notes of caramel toffee and chocolate and a full, long finish.
