At least 15,000 visitors came from interstate and overseas for Dark Mofo 2018 — up from 11,000 last year — joining tens of thousands of Tasmanians attending a diverse festival that included everything from concerts by international music acts like St Vincent and Electric Wizard to stunning laser installations at Dark Park and performance artist Mike Parr spending three days buried underneath Hobart’s busiest street.

A rival petition, calling for Dark Mofo to continue uncensored, has now attracted more than 8000 signatures.
