QAS personnel attend a number of incidents in Toowoomba and surrounds

Queensland Ambulance Service personnel had a busy Friday night and Saturday morning in Toowoomba and surrounds being tasked to various incidents from e-scooter crashes to snake bites.

Harristown – e-scooter incident

Paramedics, including critical care paramedics, attended an e-scooter incident reported near the corner of Alderley and Kowald Streets about 8.20pm.

A male in his 50s sustained a head injury after he fell from his e-scooter and was transported in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital.

Lockrose – single-vehicle rollover

Paramedics transported three patients in stable condition to hospital following a single-vehicle rollover near the intersection of Kammholz Road and Lockrose Road about 4.35am Saturday.

One patient was transported to Toowoomba Hospital and two patients were transported to Ipswich Hospital.

Rosewood – snake bite

A male patient was transported to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition following a reported snake bite to the foot at a private residence about 10.12pm Friday.
