Two men have had their case mentioned in court after they were arrested for allegedly seriously assaulting a young man at the Royal Hotel in Gatton.
The alleged victim, Mike Katui, was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital on Sunday night, September 3, with serious head wounds.

After spending a night in the Toowoomba watch-house, the men’s case was briefly mentioned in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon.
The court was told the pair had applied for Legal Aid funding and would likely apply for bail on Thursday.
