Mr Smith is also facing 56 counts of failing to comply with reporting relating to previous convictions.
In Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Thursday Smith’s solicitor Ryan McCullough said a submission had been made to the prosecution, and he needed to get his client’s instructions for how he wanted to proceed.
When asked by acting magistrate Roger Stark why the matter wasn’t progressing Mr McCullough said the delay was down to the bulk of material in the brief, which was made up of more than 1000 pages, which required a significant amount of time to go through.
As of yet no plea has been entered to the charges, and the matter was adjourned to June 29.
