3. David Else (University, A-grade)

Batting at first drop proved to be a tough task for batters in A and Reserve grade this week with the majority of batters struggling to have a major impact at number three.

However, Else stepped up and was the pick of the bunch with an impressive 42 off 45 balls.

4. Matthew Dunn (University, A-grade)

Continuing the University theme at number four is Matthew Dunn, who was a class above as he finished both innings not out.

In the first innings, Dunn showed his poise and patience as scored 66 runs off 116 balls when the game was there to be won and lost.

He then chipped in with 17 runs in the second innings as Uni claimed a comfortable victory to hit the ground running in the two-day competition.

5. Harjinder Dhillon (Met-Easts, Reserve grade)

Dhillon takes the number five spot in this side after his solid 49 runs from 77 balls against Wests.
