Three-time NRLW premiership winner and Australian Jillaroos captain Ali Brigginshaw headlines a blockbuster quartet of Western Clydesdales BMD Premiership signings.
Brigginshaw, who is also the NRLW’s most experienced player and three-time Women’s World Cup winner, will join the Clydesdales for their inaugural season next year.
She line up alongside fellow NRLW players Shenae Ciesiolka, Tara Reinke and Jessikah Reeves.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Ali, Shenae, Tara and Jessikah to the Clydesdales family,” Clydesdales BMD Premiership head coach Mitchell Sargent said.
“Their NRLW experience and outstanding abilities will undoubtedly raise the level of competition and help us achieve our goals in the BMD Premiership.
“We can’t wait to see them in action on the field.”
Reinke and Ciesiolka will be familiar to the Toowoomba Rugby League faithful with the pair both hailing from the region.
Ciesiolka first played league as junior with the Oakey Bears before going on to represent Australia in touch football and rugby sevens.
More recently she has stamped her name on the rugby league landscape as star for the Brisbane Broncos, Queensland Maroons and Australia.
As an 18-year-old Reinke set records at the Australian National Powerlifting Championships.
The now 24-year-old played for Gatton Hawks in the TRLW before joining Brisbane Tigers and ran out for the Canberra Raiders this season.
Talented forward Reeves played five NRLW games for the North Queensland Cowboys this season and was a star for the PNG Orchids at last year’s Women’s World Cup.
