Two people taken to hospital after collision
Paramedics took two people to hospital after a two-vehicle, nose-to-tail crash in Toowoomba on Sunday afternoon.
The incident was reported to authorities at 1.10pm on Campbell Street in Newtown, not far from the intersection with West Street.
Three people were assessed, with two of them taken to Toowoomba Hospital in stable conditions.
Two-vehicle crash ends with double hospital trip
Two people have been hospitalised after they were injured in a crash between two cars in Toowoomba’s western suburbs on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the corner of McDougall and Taylor streets in Wilsonton just before 7.30pm.
The two people were assessed by paramedics before being taken to Toowoomba Hospital in stable conditions.
Woman falls from horse on Western Downs property
A woman has been flown to hospital in Toowoomba after she was injured in a horseriding incident in the Western Downs region on Saturday.
The Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service chopper was called in by paramedics to assist with the incident, which occurred on a private property around noon.
It’s believed the woman, who is aged in her 40s, fell from her horse after the girth broke away from her saddle during a horseriding competition.
The woman in her 40s was treated for suspected spinal injuries and was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
