Who hasn’t had a dream of buying a pub with their mates? Here are 36 across the entire state currently up for grabs – and some cost less than a southeast Queensland housing deposit.

And some might not be as expensive as you’d think.

1. Pioneer Hotel, Kulpi – $100,000 leasehold with freehold option

The Pioneer Hotel in Kulpi, about 60km northwest of Toowoomba, has hit the market through SGW Hotel Brokers for a leasehold price of $100,000.

The cheapest pub on this list made headlines when it was revealed it would only set back investors $100,000 leasehold, with the option to purchase the freehold.

The Pioneer Hotel in Kulpi, which is situated between Toowoomba and Dalby, is a thriving community that is backed by both the mining and agricultural industries.

2. Talwood Hotel – $535,000 freehold

The Talwood Hotel, located west of Goondiwindi.
