Three well-established Toowoomba convenience stores have hit the market, for an asking price of $3 million.

The Friendly Grocer at Wilsonton Heights, Wyalla Plaza and Westridge are for sale with the owners looking to sell all three.

Each of the stores are located in small shopping villages in town, and while they all sell approximately the same goods each store is customised to the suburb’s demographic.

They have been a part of the Toowoomba community for 20 years, with many locals shopping at the stores regularly.

Two of the three stores are under management, while one store is directly supervised by one of the owners.

According to the advertisement on SeekBusiness, there is a weekly turnover of $250,000 with an annual profit of more than $600,000.

The owners are offering one month of training as part of the sale and another two months at an agreed hourly rate.

The businesses are ideal for a newcomer into convenience stores but also for an existing retail store owner looking for additional locations.
