The sun is shining, COVID restrictions have been lifted and it’s time for the Heritage Bank Toowoomba Royal Show.
Get ready for fairy floss, Shannon’s Chips, showbags, rides and competitions because there is something for everyone kick starting today.
With an array of new attractions mixed with the tradition of more than 150 years, this year’s show is sure to impress.
With COVID restrictions in Queensland being eased yesterday, up to 50,000 people are able to attend the show each day.
The family entertainment factor dial has been turned up all the way this year with tonnes of activities, events and spectacles for all ages.
In addition to the always popular animal nursery, working dairy, historical machinery display and Little Hands on the Farm programs will continue to engage, entertain and educate patrons.
There is also the Eroni’s Circus, pig racing, monster trucks, vintage sprint cars, motorbikes, two fireworks shows, an amazing laser light show and the award-winning Spirit of the Red Sand Indigenous show which will have everyone on the edge of their seats all weekend.
It’s the first time People’s Day has been held on a Friday, with the show gearing up for a bumper three days across the weekend.

WHERE/WHEN
The show will run from Friday, April 16 to Sunday, April 18 from 9am.
It is held at the Toowoomba Showgrounds on Frank Thomas Avenue in Glenvale.
HOW MUCH
For a smoother booking process and entry it is strongly recommended to pre-book your tickets online at www.toowoombashow.com.au.
Friday and Saturday
Adult $20, child 5 – 12 years $7, concession $13, family of two adults and two children $45, children under five are free.
Sunday
Adult $17, child 5 – 12 years $5, concession $11, family of two adults and two children $39, children under five are free.
PARKING
Free parking is provided in both the northern and southern car parks, with disabled parking available at both entrances.
A bus service will operate each day. The bus will be free to all prepaid ticket holders.
ATM AND EFTPOS
EFTPOS facilities are available at the northern and southern turnstiles.
A Heritage ATM is located at the show site office at the northern end and entrance of the Glenvale Room.
GETTING LOST
If you find yourself lost see the friendly office staff and they’ll help you. Police officers will be based in the main building entrance.
