You weren’t dreaming if you saw a bunch of bears enjoying a cup of tea at Picnic Point at the weekend, with many families spread out across the lawn for the Teddy Bear’s Picnic event.
The fun-filled picnic which was part of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers event calendar, had plenty of residents attend, as well as visitors including Melina Walton and her daughter Ava.
Visiting from Brisbane, the pair will spend the next week in the region to celebrate all there is to love about Toowoomba in the springtime.
“It’s our first time visiting the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers,” Ms Walton said.
“We’ve told my parents about how beautiful the flowers are, so now they are going to come visit from Brisbane to join us.”
