Chaise Damschke rebrands and opens new Toowoomba hairdresser salon business Chaise and Co

Age is no barrier for this determined go-getter, who has dreamt of opening a salon since she was 15. Now, the entrepreneur has rebranded and opened her new stylish salon. Take a look inside.

She is one of Toowoomba’s youngest business owners to have gone from strength-to-strength with the launch of her new rebranded salon Chaise and Co.

It’s the result of years of hard work and 26-year-old Chaise Damschke chasing her dream since she was an apprentice at the age of 15.

“My partner and I did most of the work which has made this accomplishment something we are so incredibly proud of,” Ms Damschke said.

“We started fitting out the salon in July, which was the start of an extremely challenging but rewarding time.”

Age is no barrier for the determined go-getter, who started her own business two years ago and has continued to excel in her chosen field.

Formerly named La Chaise Hair Boutique, the ambitious hairdresser started the business in a small room with just two chairs.

But she found herself hiring a second hairdresser when she was fully booked out after just eight months in business.

Now two years later and after working hard to build her clientele, Ms Damschke’s business has rebranded, changed names and moved into its own slick space.

The new salon features eight chairs, three wash basins and a custom-built and tiled reception desk, with earthy, natural and raw tones and textures throughout.

Ms Damschke said she had been blown away by the positive response and was grateful for her customers’ support.

She currently employs two staff members and plans to continue expanding the business as it continues to grow.

Chaise and Co is at 1/12 Prescott St. To book, phone 0492 817 525.
