Video footage has emerged of a Sunshine Coast footballer scoring a goal after four seconds, in what could be a state record.
Alex Barlow of Nambour Yandina United scored from the centre circle in the first kick of the game against Woombye Snakes on November 11.
It was filmed by local videography group RawSource Creative Studio and shared onto social media.
But what makes the effort even more mind boggling, the NYU's No.10 said he hadn't looked up to see whether the keeper was off the line.

He had placed his trust in a teammate and his left peg did the rest.
"I kept my head down and trusted Fully," Barlow said of his strike partner Jacob Fulluck.
"He just said 'go on, hit it, trust me'."
Woombye's young keeper Isaiah Elstak was left stranded as the ball sailed into the back of the net.
"As soon as I hit it I knew it was going it. It come off so sweet," Barlow said.
"When you hit it like that you just know."
A spokesman for Football Queensland said there were no official records that kept track of the fastest goals scored.
However, he said he was unaware of a faster goal set and that it was likely "up there, if not the fastest".
In a warning to other goalkeepers, Barlow said the shot was no fluke and that he will have to prove it wasn't.
Here's a look at some of the fastest goals scored from around the world:
English Premier League
Shane Long: 7.69 seconds
German Bundesliga
Karim Bellarabi and Kevin Volland - 9 seconds
Spain's La Liga
Joseba Llorente: 7.82 seconds
