Horrific footage has emerged online of a car slamming into a pedestrian as he was crossing the road in a Sunshine Coast nightlife hub.
The video was uploaded to a Sunshine Coast community page on Monday showing the man walking on Alexandra Parade at Alexandra Headland near the Alex Bar and Grill bar.
In the footage, the pedestrian is shown walking with his shirt off, and a piece of clothing in his hand.
His head is turned towards the direction of the car and he raises his hand, which is gripping his shirt shortly before the crash.
Music from a club and screeching tyres can be heard in the video.
This footage has emerged after emergency crews reported a man was struck by a car on Friday night.
Crews were called out to Alexandra Parade at 11.22pm.
The man was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital and he was still in a stable condition as of Monday morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said no further action had been taken in regard to the incident on Friday.
