A man has been flown to hospital in a critical condition after a horror machinery incident left him with significant injuries on Friday morning.

Paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene at 10.30am on June 16, but firefighters were not required and left shortly after.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the incident was involving a bobcat machine and the man had suffered “quite significant injuries”.

He was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.

It is unclear how the incident happened, but the spokeswoman said the man may have been entrapped under the machine.
