Noosa Flashpackers at Sunshine Beach, which was developed by a local family over the course of a 10-year period, is expected to create a lot of interest.
The business has been recognised nationally for providing a higher standard of accommodation for value-minded travellers while retaining a fun, relaxed and welcoming approach.
Colliers International Sunshine Coast agent Johnny Gooderham said the owners planned to retire knowing they had left behind a legacy of an outstanding business.
Expressions of interest close on the 1520sq m Pacific Ave site on October 22.

Mr Gooderham said the business had "redefined" backpacker accommodation in Queensland.
"Noosa Flashpackers has been meticulously developed, presenting a modern sustainable business offering a high standard of accommodation for travellers," Mr Gooderham said.
"It's both a lifestyle opportunity for an owner/operator as well as a secure commercial investment."
Mr Gooderham said Flashpackers was a superior product in the Noosa marketplace with a business model that would achieve year-on-year growth.
Modern and sustainably built, Noosa Flashpackers caters to the youth and adventure travel market and to the established independent traveller.
The culmination of Flashpackers' success paved the way for it to be ranked in the top three hostels in Australia at the 2019 Adventure Tourism Awards.
Mr Gooderham said the strong business provided an excellent platform for a future owner or operator to see continued returns and growth.
