MANY people dream of buying an acreage property, growing vegies and keeping a few chooks and horses but, in the highly sought-after Noosa hinterland, that can come with a hefty price tag.
That's why Phil and Sam Hargrave are expecting a good turn-out when they take 2395 Old Noosa Road, Cooran to auction at 10am on Sunday, November 25.
"This could be the bargain of the year," Sam said. "The fact is, this amazing 44-acre property, just a minute's drive from Cooran village, must be sold.''
This property has a lot to offer, including a secure future income, about 6ha of the land has been used for a hardwood plantation, comprising gympie messmate and brushbox.
There's still plenty of room for cattle or horses, and there's even an above-ground concrete swimming pool, although it needs a little TLC. And then there's the great views of Mt Cooran.

Kate Cox of Richardson & Wrench Noosa has been getting good inquiry on the four-bedroom, three-bathroom house at 10 Dwyer St, Sunshine Beach, that goes to auction on Sunday at 11.15am.
Complete with lovely gardens and handy to everything Sunshine has to offer, it has mainly been attracting the interest of locals, Kate said.
"They are looking for another property or downsizing. We have also had Brisbane buyers moving here which has been for many properties lately.''
"The sellers are looking for a sale on the day.''
"We have seen lots of buyers wanting houses for the new year.''

IT'S on one level, close to everything with a high garage and with side access as well as second driveway there is space for a boat or caravan.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom house with pool at 52 Tarina St, Noosa Heads, goes to auction Saturday at 2.30pm with Patrick Reed of Belle property.
"It's got a beautiful entertainment area,'' Patrick said, "and nicely renovated.
"It's got a lot of appeal and would suit young families or older.
"You can watch the kids in the pool from the cabana or watch them play on the lawn.''
There has been some local interest in the property but more interstate, Patrick said.
"Anyone wishing to relocate, it would suit perfectly. It's got that relaxed Noosa feel and close to everything.''
