Spicers Retreats to launch luxurious holiday home booking platform Private Collection

A Noosa weekender owned by millionaire business couple Graham and Jude Turner will be one of the first properties listed on an exclusive new holiday home platform.
Spicers Retreats will launch its foray into the holiday home and unit market in September to take on Airbnb and Stayz.
Private Collection by Spicers will feature luxurious homes with nightly rates ranging from $1000 to tens of thousands.
The Noosa First Point property owned by Spicers Retreats founder Mrs Turner and her Flight Centre CEO husband “Skroo” Turner is one of two Sunshine Coast properties to first feature on the website.
The second is an architecturally-designed Mt Mellum property with 360 degree views.
Spicers Retreats managing director David Assef said demand for tranquil, nature-based getaways was on the rise.
“It’s the perfect time to expand our offering to meet the high demand for unique holiday experiences,” Mr Assef said.
Spicers aims to have more than 50 homes in the collection within the next 24 months at iconic destinations such as Hamilton Island, the Barossa Valley and Port Douglas.
Private Collection is targeting property owners with high-end homes who want to avoid the mainstream booking platforms.
Mr Assef said properties would be exclusively advertised on Private Collection and could be made available whenever the owners chose.
