HELD on the mid-level with ocean views in the north and the hinterland in the west, the auction of 300 David Low Way, Peregian Beach, attracted a crowd including three registered bidders; one couple having flown in from New Zealand.

"We are not only selling this magnificent piece of real estate,” Belle Property Noosa principal, marketing agent and auctioneer John Stamp began.

"With the view comes the breeze, the sand, the Peregian beach community and village. There's nothing missing. The airport is just down the road.”

In preparing for an opening bid, John asked those registered to continue the conversation in telling how they felt about the eye-catching six-bedroom residence. In the past year the property had also returned $180,000 in holiday bookings.

A start of $1.3m led to a sale under the hammer at $1.4m as the buyers from over the ditch secured their Aussie investment.

It highlighted a weekend that saw a four-bedroom house with pool at 48 Nairana Rest, Noosa Heads, go to contract for $1.26m after auction with Sharon McLure of Tom Offermann Real Estate.

The property attracted six registered bidders to $1.185m, and the contract negotiated with the phone bidder from Singapore.

Pet-friendly townhouse

MELANIE Primer has welcomed a diverse mix of buyers to 2/12 James St, Noosaville, in the lead-up to Saturday's auction.

And the seller is making every effort to work with buyers, going so far as to offer settlement on or before 60 days.

"People appreciate Noosaville , location is such a drawcard and there is very little in comparison available," the Mcgrath Estate Agent said.

"Low body corporate into a boutique complex of five townhouses and the opportunity to bring a pet, highlights the appeal of this three-bed residence."

Currently owner-occupied, the property is appraised to return between $550 to $570 per week on a permanent lease basis.

Front and rear courtyards link up via a side breezeway adding to the generous outdoor areas.

Fresh, tidy and ready to move into, unit 5 Solaise will be open today, Friday July 21, 11-11.30am and tomorrow July 22 from 12.30pm before the auctioneer asks for an opening bid at 1pm.
