Have you ever had that dream where you're floating on water?

Well it doesn't have to be a just dream, because you can purchase your own waterfront real estate with the rare offering of a private jetty and houseboat on the Noosa River.

Located at the end of Robert St, just two jetties down from popular Noosa River Boathouse restaurant, the houseboat known as Springtime is a Coast Airbnb favourite.

Owners Gabriel and Christina Cerasan became interested in offering a unique Sunshine Coast experience after growing tired of traditional holiday hotels.

"Five stars becomes a bit boring after a while," Mr Cerasan told travel website Life Unhurried.

"You kind of look for things that are an experience rather than just a bed."

So when they found an abandoned old jetty along the picturesque Noosa River, the idea was planted to create a waterfront holiday experience to remember.

"It was a little private jetty that had been sitting there for sale for years," Mr Cerasan said.

"No one thought about buying it or doing anything with it. I always saw that jetty as a beautiful piece of real estate."

It might not have looked like much at the time, but the innovative couple saw huge potential.

Especially after they renovated an old 8-berth houseboat and transformed it into a luxury 2-berth.

"It's a waterfront piece of real estate and if you put something on it, it becomes a waterfront home," Mr Cerasan said.

At $365.71 per night, the Noosa River houseboat is now an Airbnb favourite.

But marketing agent Adrian Reed, from Reed and Co, said the private jetty and houseboat listing would be just as comfortable for a live-in couple.

"It is a little slice of paradise on the waterfront," he said.

"It is pretty incredible, enjoying the sunrises and sunsets on the water."

Jetty 33 on the Noosa River and the Springtime houseboat is currently open to offers over $1 million.
