A "SIX-STAR resort-style” home part of millionaire's row in Alexandra Headland's coveted golden triangle has hit the market for only the second time.
Retirees Pam and Emmanuel Augustakis are putting their multi-million dollar, five-bedroom mansion up for auction after buying it as a "forever” home.
In 2017 the couple splashed $2,900,000 on the 11 Tantula Road East property, primarily as a place to babysit their many grandchildren.
But with extended family now living on the Coast and travel plans in mind, the couple are reluctant sellers.
"It's been a brilliant home, everything is at our fingertips and it's five minutes from anywhere,” Mrs Augustakis said.
"You can sit up on the top deck and watch the world go by. At the moment the days are so stunning.
"You can see everything, the headland, Point Cartwright, the fireworks (and) Old Woman Island.
"It has a lift that goes to every floor, we try not to use it, but it's so good for groceries.
"We bought it as a forever home but we can just go see the grandchildren easier now.”
Next Property Group agent Craig Porter said the home's master design was ahead of its time when built.
"It's don't know if there is a better house in Alexandra Headland,” Mr Porter said.
"Anyone looking at high-end apartments, this is almost like a penthouse buy. It's amazing.
"It is six-star resort-style living at its finest - the golden triangle offers that.
"It's only had two owners and it has seen meticulously maintained.”
The five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion goes under the hammer on May 25.
It was originally owner by property developer John O'Keefe and designed by local architect Brad Read.
