A highly sought after Hastings St holiday apartment with a rental price of $511 per night has come onto the market for the first time in 27 years.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom Noosa Heads unit at 4/81 Hastings St has been owned by an interstate family since 1993.
Tom Offermann Real Estate listed the 279sq m home for sale on Tuesday morning for a cool $8.2 million.
The agency's principal Tom Offermann said there had been a "stream" of emails, texts and phone calls flood in just hours after the property went live.

"A lot of people have been asking about it for a very long time," he said.
"About two thirds of the inquiries has been from interstate, the rest from Brisbane."
Mr Offermann refused to speculate regarding the type of client who had shown interest but said the price tag generally attracted "quite successful people".
He said the owners were not getting up to Noosa as much as they once did and felt the time was right to "pass on the ownership baton".
Asked why the property was so popular, Mr Offermann said: "Probably its views over Main Beach, it's in a very prestigious nine-unit complex at the Paris-end of Hastings St.
"The complex is slightly unusual in that it has a glass lift with increasing views as you go up the hill."
