Masseur Cameron Petrie faces court on rape, sexual assault charges
A massage therapist accused of sex offences which allegedly took place at a Noosa business has faced court for the first time, admitting to being found with drugs at a police raid.

A Sunshine Beach masseur has admitted to being caught with a drug stash following being charged with sex offences.
Cameron Micheal Petrie was charged by police following an investigation into alleged sexual offences committed at a Sunshine Beach massage business this year.
In a statement, police said they charged the 34-year-old with one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault.
His first appearance was in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday where he faced additional charges of possessing dangerous drugs and possessing utensils, which he pleaded guilty to.
The court heard police executed a search warrant at a Sunshine Beach address on December 7 where 7g of marijuana and tobacco was found in a kitchen along with drug utensils.
Defence lawyer Belinda Robinson said the 34-year-old was employed as a masseur for 15 years however was not working in his chosen field due to his indictable charges.
The court heard he was in the process of applying for Centrelink.
Ms Robinson said the self employed masseur used marijuana to medicate for stress and anxiety and submitted he had dated history.
His solicitor said Petrie planned to go to rehabilitation clinic in Caboolture in the New Year.
Acting magistrate Raelene Ellis placed the Sunshine Beach man on a recognisance order for six month. He must attend a drug diversion course with no conviction recorded.
Ms Ellis then adjourned Petrie’s two charges of sexual assault and one of rape to next year. No pleas have been entered on those charges. He left the court on bail.
