The next steps in the cases against two men accused of murdering Currimundi woman Feebie McIntosh have been revealed in court.

Narangba man Bradley Ian Cotten and Wurtulla man Brandon Grant, both 30, had their matters mentioned in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday, February 17, but did not appear in person.

Both men are charged with the shooting murder of 25-year-old Currimundi woman Feebie McIntosh in Dicky Beach on May 27, 2022, but neither have entered pleas.

Police prosecutor Erica Zammit told the court during Mr Cotten’s mention “further material” had been added to the brief of evidence on January 25, 2023.

She did not elaborate on specifics of the evidence.

Lawyer Stephen Brough asked the matter be adjourned, despite the fact Mr Cotten had spent nearly 10 months in pre-sentence custody.

Later, during Mr Grant’s mention, lawyer Neesha Maidwell asked her client’s matter be adjourned alongside his co-accused.

Mr Grant faces a further 10 charges including two of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two of driving unlicensed, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs exceeding schedule three but not exceeding schedule 4, receiving tainted property, unlawful possession of a weapon and evade police.

Magistrate Matthew McLaughlin allowed the adjournment, but told Ms Maidwell her client would need to enter pleas for one of the dangerous operation charges, driving without a licence charge and evading police charge, all from May 22, 2022.

Both men remain in custody and will return to the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on March 17.
