Police are investigating three separate Sunshine Coast crashes in which drivers have done runners, in one case leaving a passenger in a serious condition.

No charges have been laid after a driver fled a crash at Imbil on September 5 that left a passenger with serious injuries.

Police have continued the hunt for three drivers who fled three different car crashes across the Sunshine Coast this month.

Drivers and passengers fled a Currimundi crash while a driver involved in another Maroochydore crash that destroyed a set of traffic lights also did a runner.

Police also continue to hunt for a third driver who left a passenger in a serious condition when they fled from a crash in Imbil earlier this month.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said no charges were yet laid in any of the crashes.

She said a police investigation continued into the three incidents.

Emergency services were called to a crash on the intersection of Erang St and Nicklin Way about 6pm on September 10.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said an initial investigation showed a silver Audi A4 with no number plates had a head-on collision with red Toyota Corolla.

The driver and passengers of the Audi fled and one passenger, a 34-year-old man, was later found on Rosea Crt, near Lakeside Cres, the spokeswoman said.

He complained of a sore knee and was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

The occupants of the other car, a man and woman in their 30s and a toddler, were also taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable conditions with minor injuries.

A police investigation continues into whether the Audi was stolen, and no charges have been laid as police continue to hunt for at least two other people who ran from the crash.

Another driver in a separate crash in Maroochydore also did a runner from their vehicle following an incident that destroyed a set of traffic lights.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Aerodrome Rd, near May St, about 3.10am today, September 11.

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on Kandanga Imbil Rd, in Imbil, about 10pm on Tuesday, September 5.

The car had left the road and landed down a small embankment and the driver fled the crash.

An 18-year-old man was taken in a serious condition to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with abdominal and head injuries.

No charges have yet been laid following that crash.
