Britney Grace Robinson Meldrum pleads guilty to common assault at Solbar
A young woman has levelled a barrage of punches at a security guard and bar worker during a big night on the Sunshine Coast.

A teenager has been placed on probation after she attacked a security guard and a bar manager when she was refused entry into a Sunshine Coast bar.
Britney Grace Robinson Meldrum rained down blows on two separate victims on a night out in Ocean St in Maroochydore on November 9 last year.
The court heard on Monday how the 18-year-old lined up to Solbar about 9pm where she was denied entry to the venue due to being too drunk.
Police prosecutor Mark Burrell said after a brief conversation Robinson Meldrum punched a woman security guard in the head three times before she was restrained.
The bar manager went to help the security officer while the 18-year-old was grabbed by other guards and told to leave.
Sergeant Burrell said the teenager continued her barrage of punches on the woman security guard for a second time when the restraint on her was lessened.
The man bar manager tried to intervene however Robinson Meldrum then struck him multiple times in the face.
The court heard the Coes Creek teenager was escorted from the bar however the teenager loitered in the street and threw her shoes at security which narrowly missed other patrons.
The police prosecutor said due to her behaviour police were called.
She pleaded guilty to two counts of common assault and failing to leave a licensed premises on Monday, along with a charge of failing to appear in court on January 15.
Sergeant Burrell said the 18-year-old was lucky she was not charged with a more serious offence against victims who were only doing their job.
Duty solicitor Jamiee Burns said the aspiring beauty therapy worker was drinking that night and could not completely remember the incident. She asked for the 18-year-old to be placed on probation to provide rehabilitation to steer her away from the criminal justice system.
Ms Burns said the victims thankfully did not suffer any injuries from the assaults.
Magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist placed Robinson-Meldrum on a two-year probation order and fined her $400. No conviction was recorded.
