A Lockyer Valley man fuelled by alcohol and busted with his penis exposed told cops to arrest everyone at a Sunshine Coast church after they denied him entry to speak to God.

A Laidley electrician has exposed his penis while on an alcohol-fuelled rant after being denied entry to a Sunshine Coast church to speak to God.

Brian Garry Perkins faced court in Caloundra on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, after the bizarre series of events.

From January 30 to February 12, 2022 Perkins racked up nine offences across the Sunshine Coast, Caloundra Magistrates Court heard.

Magistrate Catherine Benson said some of his crimes consisted of “erratic” and ”confrontational” manner towards other people.

Court documents say Perkins attacked and punched a restaurant worker in Kings Beach on February 3, 2022 for not giving him free coffee.

Police said in court documents the 51-year-old Laidley man ran away while ranting about religion.

According to court documents, police arrested Perkins again along Church St in Maroochydore about 9.45am on February 10, 2022.

Perkins was yelling about religion and asked officers to arrest everyone because they refused him entry to their church to allow him to speak to God.

Police say Perkins walked into a garden on Church St before emerging with his penis exposed.

Defence lawyer Neesha Maidwell said Perkins had been suffering from significant mental health deterioration due to a relationship breakdown.

The court heard the electrician and miner had been fuelled by alcohol while having an episode which “exploded” over several weeks.

Perkins pleaded guilty three counts of public nuisance and one of common assault, wilful damage, fare evasion, wilful exposure, trespass and breaching bail.

He was fined $2500 with no conviction recorded.
