Three children were among four taken to hospital after a Sunshine Coast unit complex was evacuated during a blaze yesterday.
Queensland Fire Department crews were sent to Bundilla Boulevard, Mountain Creek about 2.45pm on Friday following a report of a garage on fire.
A spokeswoman said all 10 units of the complex were evacuated and the fire has been contained to three garages on the bottom floor.
Another firefighter spokeswoman this morning said the units were “made safe” about 6.30pm and fire took about 30 minutes to extinguish.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman yesterday said three adults and one child were being assessed by paramedics, with one suffering a medical episode and another reporting an arm injury.
Another paramedic spokesman this morning said four people, three children and a woman in her 40s, were taken to hospital for potential smoke inhalation.
A fifth person was looked over and declined to be taken to hospital, he said.
The fire spokeswoman this said power was restored to some of the units in the complex.
She said fire investigators would return to the unit complex this morning to probe the cause of the fire.
Police were also called to divert traffic.
