Man in serious condition after entrapment in Maleny crash
More details have emerged about the rescue of a driver after he became trapped in a car when it rolled in a serious crash in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Two people were rushed to hospital after a car crashed four metres down an embankment at the Sunshine Coast hinterland on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash involving a Toyota HiLux and a Mercedes Benz on Landsborough-Maleny Rd near Maleny around 2.20pm.
At the scene a driver was trapped inside one of the vehicles, which had rolled down an embankment and come to rest on its roof against a tree.
The car’s contents were strewn around the vehicle following the crash.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews removed the door of the Mercedes to free the 38-year-old Nambour man.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokeswoman said firefighters assisted the driver from the car but did not have to use any equipment during the rescue.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the 38-year-old was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition with a head injury.
An 18-year-old Witta man, reported to be the driver of the other vehicle, was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A Queensland Police spokesman called for witnesses and anyone with vision to come forward.
