Police are investigating the reasons behind two vehicles being found burning in Maroochydore overnight.

Investigations are under way after emergency services were called to two vehicles on fire in Maroochydore.

Emergency services were called to a carport on Anzac Avenue at 3.15am to find one vehicle on fire under a carport and another on fire on the street.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said three crews attended the scene with both fires under control within five minutes.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said there were no injuries and investigations are ongoing.
