Police are searching for a large man wearing a black hoodie, black clothes and face mask who allegedly attempted to rob a Rockhampton service station.
They have released CCTV footage of the man they are seeking help finding, following the alleged incident on Sunday, May 25.
Police allege an unknown man has entered the business on the corner of Kent Lane and Albert Street armed with a hammer and demanded cash and cigarettes from an employee about 8.30pm.
They say no one was physically injured, and allege the man fled along Albert Street empty-handed.
He is described as Caucasian with a solid build, about 175cm tall and was wearing dark clothing, including a hooded jacket and face mask.
Police are appealing to the man in the image, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recognise the man, to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
