Man killed in D’Aguilar Hwy crash at Barker Creek Flat, near Nanango
Police are investigating after a 21-year-old tragically died when his ute rolled into a creek bed in the South Burnett.

Police are appealing for help after a young man was killed in an early morning crash about 5km outside Nanango on Saturday.
They said the man, a 21-year-old from Nanango, was driving a white Toyota Hilux dualcab ute along the D’Aguilar Hwy at Barker Creek Flat when the crash happened near the intersection with McCauley Broome Rd.
Preliminary investigations indicated the ute veered off the road and rolled into the dry bed of Barker Creek, police said.
Emergency services were not called until several hours later, just before midday.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with dashcam footage or further information is being asked to contact police.
