The community has spoken and 43 of the South Burnett’s best and brightest have been named for Australia Day Awards across 12 different categories. See the full list of everyone in the running for an award this year:

The South Burnett filled with passionate and talented people who spend their lives making their hometowns a better place.

Each Australia Day the region’s model citizens are recognised across the country for their service to the community.

The region received more than 40 individual resident nominations across 12 different categories.
