“On the evening there will be an awesome round-up of entertainment from Kingaroy guitar vocalist Amos Pellas and his band, the Ground Crew, and the band Dealin’.

“The Baitlayers are catering the event with camp ovens and we encourage guests to bring picnic blankets, chairs and camper tables to enjoy their food.”

The event has support from sponsors including Deb Frecklington, Swickers Kingaroy and The Peanut Company of Australia.

Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington said she is really proud to continue her sponsorship of the event.

“It is always a fantastic evening with good food and good company and I would like to congratulate the Kingaroy Men’s Shed for their commitment to supporting RACQ Life Flight,” Mrs Frecklington said.

“Lifeflight is a vital service which our community relies on daily, without Life Flight there is no doubt that lives would be lost.

“That’s why events like this are so important as it gives us an opportunity to show our thanks and support their work,” Deb said.

Mr Clark said the club was still looking for businesses to sponsor the event.

“We are still on the lookout for further sponsors and encourage anyone to get involved in any way that they can,” he said,

“The Men’s Shed formed in 2016 and regularly fund-raises for a variety of different causes by selling the work we do.
