Paramedics and the Lifeflight chopper rushed to save a man pinned beneath a tractor at South East Nanango.

In a statement, the Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics, supported by a LifeFlight rescue helicopter, attended an incident involving a tractor reported at a property in South East Nanango at 5.56pm Saturday.

A man in his 60s was initially pinned by a tractor and freed with assistance from QFES, having sustained serious leg injuries.

The patient was treated at scene by local paramedics and medical crew of the rescue helicopter before being transported in a serious but stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
