Teen in hospital after reportedly kicked in the head by horse in Aramac

A teenager who was kicked in the head by a horse was one of four people taken to hospital overnight, with emergency crews responding to multiple incidents across Central Queensland. DETAILS.

A teenager who had reportedly been kicked in the head by a horse is one of four people taken to hospital on Saturday night, with emergency crews responding to multiple incidents across Central Queensland.

Queensland Ambulance Service responded to reports of a male in his teens being kicked in the head by a horse at a private property in Aramac, about 646km west of Rockhampton, at 9.16pm.

Paramedics assessed the boy on scene for a head injury.

He was transported to Barcaldine Hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier, Queensland Ambulance Service responded to a single-vehicle crash into a tree on Whitely St in the North Rockhampton suburb of Frenchville at 8.49pm.

Paramedics transported three stable patients to Rockhampton Hospital.
