The first stage of a unique development for 22 architecturally designed workstores on the Capricorn Coast has hit the market.

Pineapple Drive Workstores is a three-stage development that will consist of 22 premium workstores located at 42 Pineapple Dr, Hidden Valley.

The workstores are 105 sqm per unit with 6m high internal clearance and boast kitchenette and bathroom amenities, as well as 3-Phase power throughout.

Access to the workstores is provided via a fully electric, container height roller door and pedestrian door.

Property developer Ben Clarke said the project delivered a “very versatile offering for a wide range of users”.

“The development has been architecturally designed and we have made sure to use high quality finishes to further enhance the appeal to not only people looking to use their workstore as a personal boat, caravan and vehicle storage option, but to cater for businesses looking to present themselves in a corporate and professional manner,” he said.

“Whether that be an online shopping business where you distribute your goods from it, or a trade looking to store your equipment there and use it as a base.

“It’s strategically located on Yeppoon Rd which provides easy access from Yeppoon to Rockhampton and vice versa.”

Mr Clarke said construction of the first stage, which will consist of eight workstores, was due to commence mid-year with plans for it to be completed later this year.

“It’s the first development of its kind in the Yeppoon region,” he said.

“We see a substantial amount of growth occurring in Yeppoon and are investing heavily in the area.”

“There is a substantial amount of population growth, and with that comes a lot of housing development in the area. We feel there is a need and demand for this product we are developing.”

Knight Frank Rockhampton commercial sales and leasing consultant Adam Kelly said the first stage of the development would be priced at $315,000 plus GST.

“We have had a very warm response to the offering to date,” he said.

“The workstores offer a wide variety of uses, they can be used as executive storage retreats, a business can store equipment and materials or even run their business out of the workstore.

“The end use is very open ended, and I look forward to bringing this unique offering to the Capricorn Coast region on behalf of the developer.”
