A single mother was busted supplying marijuana after police raided a home in Rockhampton and seized her phone.

The Rockhampton Magistrates Court heard Skye Alisha Elliott, 26, messaged with people six times on Facebook arranging the supply of marijuana.

Four of the messages occurred in August, with two of the supplies discussed being a half ounce and $50 worth of marijuana.

Police prosecutor Tiffany Moras said the last conversation Elliott had with someone on Facebook was on September 8 where she arranged the supply of $50 worth marijuana.

Ms Moras said the drug supply charges arose out of the offending that was dealt with in court on September 28.

On that occasion, Elliott was ordered to probation for two years after pleading guilty to two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count of possessing tainted property, possessing utensils or pipes that had been used and possessing anything used in the commission of crime defined in Part 2.

The offences related to a police search at a home in Rockhampton on September 13, where officers found more than 180g of marijuana, LSD, $2300 cash and other drug related items belonging to Elliott.

Elliott’s mobile phone was also seized.

Defence lawyer Samantha Legrady said her client instructed she had stayed clear from drugs and that lifestyle since being charged.

“She instructs probation is going well,” she said.

Elliott pleaded guilty to six counts of supplying dangerous drugs.

Acting Magistrate Paul Byrne convicted and not further punished her.

No criminal convictions were recorded.
