A mother of two was caught with LSD, $2300 cash and more than 180g of marijuana when police searched a home in Rockhampton.

Skye Alisha Elliott, 26, pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on September 28 to two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of possessing tainted property, possessing utensils or pipes that had been used and possessing anything used in the commission of crime defined in Part 2.

Police prosecutor Corey O’Connor said police searched a home in Rockhampton that Elliott was living in on September 13 about 11.45am and found a clip seal bag containing about 52.5g of marijuana in the laundry cupboard and another clip bag containing 5.9g of the drug.

Mr O’Connor said in the freezer, police found a clip seal bag containing 15.1g of marijuana and a further clip seal bag containing 115.6g of the drug.

He said in the main bedroom of the home was a safe which contained a tab of LSD and $2300 cash.

In the house police also found digital scales, large quantity of unused clip seal bags, electric grinder, glass smoking pipe, scissors and Elliott’s mobile phone, the court heard.

Mr O’Connor said Elliott denied knowledge of the marijuana and LSD.

Defence lawyer Samantha Legrady said her client, who had two children, accepted possession of all the items found in the search.

“She says it has been a wake up call,” she said.

Elliott was ordered to probation for two years with criminal convictions recorded.

The drugs, utensils and tainted property were forfeited to the Crown.
