Police are preparing a report for the coroner following the death of a woman last week.
Rockhampton police were called to the property on Fitzroy St at Allenstown late on Tuesday (June 6) where the body of a woman in her 40s was found.
While police could not confirm what time they were called to the property, a witness said they noticed a large police presence, including multiple scenes of crime units, at the home about 3pm, with police still on scene at 7.30pm.
The home, which is split into two rental units, has recently been sold to southern investors, real estate data shows.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Police Service said the death was being treated as non-suspicious.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
