Man injured in cattle yards incident near Stanage Bay
A man has been flown to hospital after he was injured in a cattle yards incident in Central Queensland.

A man in his 60s has been flown to Rockhampton Hospital after he was injured in a cattle yards incident, north of Rockhampton on Saturday afternoon.
The RACQ CapRescue chopper was called to a property near Stanage Bay, 64km north of Rockhampton, about 2.45pm.
A CapRescue spokeswoman said the man had been branding when he was struck by a large wooden gate in cattle yards.
“Rescue 300 landed in the vicinity of the cattle yards where the flight doctor and paramedic were able to reach and assess the patient after QAS (Queensland Ambulance Service) initially treated the patient for lower limb injuries,” the CapRescue spokeswoman said.
“The patient was further stabilised, and air transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital where he will receive further treatment for his injuries.”
