A teen who blew more than three times the limit had no idea how far over she was after cops spotted her car swerving across the road.

Kalia Brooke Honecker, 19, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.154 after police pulled her over on Noosa Drive at 2.30am on September 4.

Police prosecutor Alison Johnstone said police pulled Honecker over after they saw her crossing the middle white lines multiple times.

Sergeant Johnstone told the court Honecker had dropped friends home after having cans of pre-mixed spirits earlier that night.

Sergeant Johnstone said it “was a couple of days drinking by the sounds of it” after Honecker explained she had been drinking up until 5am the previous morning.

Honecker pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in Noosa Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Unrepresented, Honecker said she didn’t realise she was so far over the limit.

The court heard the Peregian Springs resident had been disqualified from driving since the offence.

Magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist fined the woman $900 and disqualified her from driving for a further eight months.
