Mackay police investigating vehicle arson at Racecourse

Police are calling for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after a Nissan Navara was found completely burnt out at Racecourse.

Police are investigating after a stolen vehicle was set on fire at Racecourse overnight.

About 11pm October 15 emergency services were called to Te Kowai Foulden Road after reports of a vehicle on fire.

The vehicle, a Nissan Navara, was found completely burnt out.

Queensland police say the vehicle was stolen from Mount Pleasant earlier Tuesday morning.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have information regarding the vehicle fire to come forward.
