New court date for QLD man accused of Barney Point attempted murder
A man accused of a stabbing attempted murder at Gladstone has been given his next court date after his matter was mentioned in the Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

A man charged with attempted murder after an alleged stabbing at Gladstone, in Central Queensland, has had his matter mentioned in the Magistrates Court.
Kevin Douglas Anderson, 30, was charged after an incident at a Brisbane Street house, Barney Point, on August 3.
Police allege that on the evening of August 3, they were called to a residence where a 30-year-old Barney Point man was found with multiple stabs wounds and cuts.
The injured man was transported to Gladstone Hospital in a critical condition before being flown to Brisbane, and has since been released.
In Gladstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 3, Mr Anderson’s matter was adjourned to November 6 for committal mention.
Mr Anderson was remanded in custody.
